Statement
I’m interested in what it means to maintain attention, to treat seeing as a form of presence.
My practice investigates compression, interference, and mediation as conditions and side-effects of photography. These states are also a way of staying connected to what’s distant, where the camera becomes an object of ritual (an object among objects), a tool for registering contact with what withdraws from access.
What matters is whether looking changes anything, and whether a photograph can do more than document: can it think?
